Our Instructors

Giles Copp, Sensei

Copp Sensei founded Rishinkan Dojo in 2014 and is dojo cho and chief instructor. He is a certified Aikido instructor through Zenshinkai Aikido Association and holds the rank of Yondan (4th degree black belt).

Copp Sensei started his training at Jikishinkan Dojo in Brooklyn under Stewart Johnson Sensei (Godan, ZAA) and, since founding Rishinkan Dojo, continues to train under Greg Noble Sensei (Rokudan, ZAA).

Copp Sensei is highly active within the ZAA and runs both the adult and childrens’ programs at Rishinkan.

Mark Zeh, Sensei

Zeh Sensei is Assistant Instructor at Rishinkan Dojo. He has been studying Aikido for seven years and holds the rank of Shodan (first degree black belt).

Zeh Sensei has extensive martial arts experience, holding the rank of Nidan (second degree black belt) in Okinawan Goju karate.
